Well, I'm glad: i like to play my acustic drum with my keyboard and with
Rosegarden or hydrogen: now I can do it, but I will improve it and make
different type of sounds with it during this year, I think... for now
my goal was just to have something out there, and that this Drumkit
sounds acustic, as someone was playing it in almost and ordinary room
But the next step with the colombo drumkit samples is to make them sound
like a more expensive drum.

I dont know if I agree: some months ago, the lack was especially in
bogus audio & MIDI sequencers: now Ardour is really professional and
Rosegarden it's professional too (lesser)

Do you people got the freepats drum samples from Musix GNU+Linux? We
completed all the drum patches, Adrian Pardini did it, he told me some
days ago that he found them into an ancient Mandrake CD!

Yes please!

To convert them to .sf2?

I agree: I think that it would be comfortable for anyone to have a full
GM melodic bank into .sf2 format or .pat, but: there is no apps to make
those .pat files!!!
And maybe they are worse than .sf2, maybe they dont support layers...
