I think so, yes. He clearly indicates in the email statement that
the samples are Public Domain so that is *our* main concern.

Good, they are a comforting precedents.

For now I think this is as good as it will get... but I think it is
good enough not to hold us back from redistributing the samples.

Should we call them the IMIS samples ?
I currently have them in a /samples/tmue folder but I think I should
rename it to /samples/imis ?
