Hi.
A collection of ZynAddSubFX synthesized instruments would be great.
Marcos Guglielmetti appears to have good knowledge of ZynAddSubFX and
has used it before. For myself, it is still on my to-do list...

I've discovered your document some time ago. I remember that when I
was reading it, a question jumped in my brain: I usually find
difficult to make the sound I think of, so, it would be possible to
analyze the spectrum, harmonics and structure from a recorded sound
and use this information as the input for the PADsynth algorithm?

This way, the analysed data could be used as a hint to start the
synthesis. The result could be fine tuned and a perfect looped pad
with full scale can be made with only one example wav file. Well, I
have not thought very much of it, so I'm not sure if this is possible
or useful.

I love bright ideas and algorithms. Thank you for sharing it.
