[Freepats] Copyright transfer to the FSF

I've noticed that Marcos has used a FSF copyright for the Steinway
piano soundfont. I remember that we were talking about this possibility,
but it is not clear for me if the freepats project is currently aproved
by the FSF:

It looks that a process is needed before asssigning copyright to the
Free Software Foundation. Mark, please, could you provide us more
information? Was the process started or completed?
